200-feet of saltwater front on very desirable Raft Island.
Try to find that anywhere... much less close-in to Gig Harbor, less than 10 miles from Tacoma, and less than an hour from downtown Seattle. This is a showcase 2/3 acre waiting for your care and creativity.
Beautiful natural setting.
Waterfall/pond.
Tens of thousands of dollars worth of rockwork around property.
Bulkhead on lot with house.
Lovely, winding trail down to the water.
Offshore float belongs to property.
Secluded on private drive.
Ultra safe neighborhood.
Southern exposure means you are protected from storms that lash the island's north and west sides, and you'll have the best view for watching the moon sail over the inlet.
Wonderful wildlife viewing. Sensational bird-watching. Herons, eagles, seals are regular visitors, otters on occasion. A truly magical location!
Beach rights to two waterfront parks and boat ramp on Raft Island.
The property is sold as-is. Hillside in need of drainage improvement. The house needs renovation, or remove and build anew. Current structure is approx. 2320 square feet. Runoff from the record rain last winter created some hillside cracking and slippage, which caused the decks to sag. The concrete patio slab below the house sheared off from the foundation years ago (prior to 1995 when current residents moved in), and subsided further with the record rain. The extra lot is a separate tax parcel, but is currently no-perk. With new septic technologies this lot may be buildable in the future.
Upper Level: 2 extra large bedrooms. Master bath is over 100 square feet. Walk-through closet with full-length mirrors on both sides. Skylights. Carpet throughout. Sunroom over deck. Spiral staircase. 2-car carport.
Lower Level: Living room, dining room, kitchen, breakfast nook and pantry/laundry corner, half-bath. Utility room/workshop. Extensive decking.

Yes, the camp is a wonderful neighbor. It is really a large nature preserve and park. Quiet and serene the vast majority of the time. Festive and musical for a few weekends in the summer. You will love listening to the Hungarian folk fiddlers every August!
